There are many factors to you have to consider when choosing a CNC plasma cutter.
Cutting Thickness
The thickness of the material you will be cutting. Start with the thickness of the materials that you will be cutting most often. Suggest you choose a plasma cutter capable of cutting thicker than your normal cutting thickness. It may seem like you are buying more than you need, but it will provide you with the capability to cut thicker material when needed, and provide you with high quality, high precision cuts.
Cutting Quality
Check the cut quality if could meet or exceed your application. The quality of the cut on the finished piece ultimately effects the quality of the part as well as the time spent in secondary operations on clean-up. Modern precision plasma systems provide tight focused arc providing a clean, smooth and straight cut.
Choose CNC Type With Torch Height Controller
For a plasma cutter to provide long-term value, it must be easy to set up and use. Look for one that is simple to learn and operate and which comes loaded with time-saving features such as a torch height control system. A machine that is easy to use and which incorporates cost-saving features will increase your productivity and your bottom line.
Get More Consumables
It is important to find a plasma cutter that makes consumables last as long as possible. Always purchase the recommended consumables for your machine. Cheaper brands will not last as long nor will they provide high quality cuts.
Get a Quality CNC Plasma Cutting Machine
” My name is Ray Bogunovic from total workshop maintenance in Sydney Australia and I run a small maintenance business with fabrication shop. I had been thinking of buying a cnc plasma for quite some time and it has actually been my best machine purchase and would recommend Omni also. My machine is well built easy to use and Omni were a pleasure to deal with and what they said they were going to do was done just as explained. I know people talk down to Chinese machinery but it’s great value for money and in just a few jobs it will have already paid itself of.
Great job Omni thanks for such a great machine.”
